Fucking Private Profiles!

Are you like one of them who hate private profiles on Friendster?

You know I came across this profile of a lower secondary Malay student and I read his ‘About me’ section and it says that he fucking hate people who fucking keep their fucking profile private. Well… He seems pretty angry about that. Haha.

But like what’s really there to hate about, right? It’s already bad enough that you can’t see the profile of that particular person that you wanted to see, what more you have to curse them. There are reasons for a private profile, which I must say you that you must understand.

Firstly photos. Some photos are meant to be shown only to close friends or more importantly, to someone who’s trustworthy, ‘cause you’d never know that you might be blackmailed one day if your photos are accessible to the public. That is if you post photos of yourself doing something really bad like under age drinking or being naked. Haha.

And you know some of us may be guilty of accepting random friend requests, thinking, “Oh it’s perfectly fine. After all, we’re supposed to make more friends. That’s what Friendster’s all about, right?” That’s not entirely true. When you become friends with someone you don’t know, you’re actually exposing your whole profile to them. Now I know it’s not like you have your IC number or your POSB bank account number on your profile or anything like that, but it’s still a good idea to think about whom you’re letting see your information. Okay imagine that one day a creepy guy walks up to you and asks, “You like blue roses, right? Heh heh. I read your profile. Heh heh.” Haha.

So you see, maybe you can change your mindset about people who have their profile private. Like come on, there are a lot more of other profile which are open to the public. Don't tell me you've read all of it. So why don’t you spend more time reading 'em profiles, eh?
